Why I like It:
So, I can’t relate to this song 100% lyrically, but it’s a bop. I don’t know why, but I love it. I’ve always looked up to Miley, and once she started… well... growing up… I stopped idolizing her. She was still amazing to me, but I couldn’t relate to her. However, some of her more recent works I’ve loved. The “Younger Now” album was super underrated. I also jammed to this song and “Mother’s Daughter.” I can’t deny that Miley is an icon and doing amazing work to promote feminist ideals and providing for communities that need it through her foundation. For those reasons, I’ve always admired her for speaking out against injustice and being herself.
