Why I Like It:

This song has a lot of meaning for me. I’ve struggled with what I believe in. Ultimately, I realized I’m a spiritual person and believe in certain things. But, organized religion was something I couldn't get behind. My parents have always taught me to separate faith from religion. I learned it young since we found out the preacher of our church was making a six-figure salary at one point. We stopped going to church a long time ago. Now we go when we visit my grandmother. This song performed live is a religious experience on its own. We all struggle with our faith. What’s important is believing in yourself first.
